There will only ever be one Queen of the Wilds. I am feline. Hear me ROAR!

Meorrrow!  What would a Wild Themed #FriFotos be without a photographic reminder of who the true Queen of the Wilds is, straight from Egypt, the land where time began.  If we can be this relaxed in the face of crashing waves and whizzing motorbikes on the Seawall of Alexandria, not to mention a cacophony of two-leggers, it shows just how truly powerful we are.  Oh course, while this cat and most other feline femmes are Queens, I am a Goddess.

PS. Cacophony is the jarring, harsh discord of sound that seems to come from the mouths of two-leggers.  Kindly enlightening you on that, as I know two-leggers are a bit slower, and could use the broadening of their vocabulary from us supreme beings.

Alas I may not be Richard Yearwood's 'lover', but I do love that this man has no issues with hugging, kissing or telling me he loves me. The feeling is mutual and one of the many reasons I love to both work and play with this man.

These are not simply the ramblings of a gal that is single on Valentine’s Day.  I actually generally prefer my single Valentines, as more people tell me they love me and I am never met with disappointment.  Plus Fuzzywiggle Furrypants Roo makes the best damn Valentine’s cat that there ever was.  She gives even more kisses and hugs than I do (and I’m pretty liberal with mine).

No, this is a philosophy instilled in me thanks to my parents.  And thanks to them, it is the reason that I know where I stand with my family, close friends and many of the people who I work with (who I consider to be family and close friends) ~ they love me and I love them (Hell, at  Ahimsa that seems to be one of the long term prerequisites ~ do they have talent and do we love them ~ necessary after all, when we do long hours, all over the World).  And as I get older and have sadly started to lose some of the people in my life that I love, it is for this reason that I always know the last thing that I said to them ~ I  love you! (and despite saying these words often, every day of my life, they are not hollow words).

And with that, I send all you lovely readers some hugs …

A Message from FFR

I thought it should read PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS (as that encompasses all of us) or better yet PEOPLE FOR ORGANISMS (as we wouldn’t want to exclude plants, fungi, parameciums …), but she said that if the OCCUPY folk were going to be omnipotent, then they may as well be schooled in who the true Goddesses really are (yes, just Goddesses as she tells me females rule the feline world).

Now all that aside, can someone please explain me the point of OCCUPYING the financial district on a weekend?  Seems to me they are missing their actual audience on the weekend and just irritating the neighbours and tourists.

… like why I’m home alone on a Saturday night.  FUZZIES!!!!

… and I say that as a gal whose kisses today came from a loving little Fuzzywiggle Furrypants Roo and blown from family members across the country.  May not have a ‘plus one’ in my world, but I do have a huge amount of love. Reminded everyday of that.

Yep, that Irish Stud, Stephen Maguire, sent me a love song from across the pond in Ireland.  Well, in truth, his beautiful wife, Tera, sent me the love song, but she’s just as hot as he is, so works for me.

Next up, gotta get Stephen to serenade me in person.  That and get that sexy sweetheart Richard Yearwood to serenade Brie and I in person and on camera – he’s already done it once over the phone, but Fuzzies accidentally walked over my iphone and clicked delete.

I’m really rather fond of the goals I have in life.

A Withering Look From a Feline is a Force to be Reckoned With - Photo by Eva

I will not stand the denial my rightful shower of love by that unimpressive pseudo-deity they call “the clock”. At its unspoken command, my two-legger appears to be engaging in a face-off with the blogger machine. As her sole proprietor and role model, I believe the task to detach her inferior claws from the clickety-clack at the blogger falls upon my sleek and lustrous shoulders. She must be reminded, yet again, of her duties to me, and that there are now sunny spots aplenty to cuddle me in.

I will make this two-legger led astray an offer she cannot refuse. I will station myself in all my feline glory in front of her blogger screen and pontificate at length about the evils of not preening oneself many times a day. My divine apparition will demonstrate all she is missing by ignoring me. I would not invest in the education of most two-leggers. Between daily preens and sleeps there are only so many hours in a day for such philanthropy; I must admit, however, a minor chink in my goddessy armour: I do have a soft spot for this one.

This week’s word:  Mom

Mom: This is not a word that we felines use, except with the feline that conceived us, washed us and fed us, in those first few days of life.  My two-legger refers to herself as my Mom, which leads me to believe that Moms are the creatures that feed us and respond to our every whim.  I refer to my two-legger as my servant, so maybe Moms are that, only I get a feeling that there is something more. Really hate to admit it, for fear that it will get my two-legger to big for her bridges, but I do believe that something more is Love.

‘My two-legger is somewhat of an exceptional Mom, as she acts as a wonderful heating blanket every night (only someone should really tell her that to be a blanket, she shouldn’t move), she cuts me up the succulent green little tree-like things, and she’s always there for a hug when I need one.’

My 'Mom' in all of cuddliness. Someone just needs to tell the silly two-legger next to her to move on. Those are my hugs.

Just rang in the New Decade with Fuzzywiggle Furrypants and the other four leggers around here, as all the humans here are already snuggled under the covers.  Been quite a delightful one! Spent with people I love, yummy food (and not too much of it) and watching Canada’s Junior Hockey win in a very close game against the USA!  The last of which is exceedingly exciting to a snow and ice loving Canadian Gal!!!

Before I head off to snuggle under the covers myself with my first kiss of the New Decade, Miss Fuzzywiggle Furrpants Roo, I wanted to wish all of you a Happy New Decade!
