I always get tearful on November 11th thinking oh all the men and women who fought, faced horrors and died protecting our freedoms and way of life, so that I may never see such horrors, but as I think about them this morning I realize that I don’t ever think I’ve thanked them. And 11 days after the Anniversary of my Grandfather’s death, I know I never thanked him for fighting in World War II to protect our freedoms. I’m sorry Grandfather and if you can hear me, “thank you”.
So I am unplugging for a couple of hours to march alongside the Veterans in the Remembrance Day Parade and say thanks to as many Veterans as I can.
