Ever since I attended the launch of Eat St and watched the premier episode, my mouth has been drooling for a visit to The Grilled Cheese Truck. I’m not ashamed to admit that when we moved to LA it was the first thing on my mind. I finally downloaded the Eat St. app for my phone so I could find the cheesy beast, but in the process I discovered that Eat St. is filming two new trucks in Vancouver on Wednesday and Thursday. Drat! Another missed opportunity. It would have been great to take the kids down and get on camera. Does anyone out there know when they will be filming in LA again?
After finding out that some of my friends have been to THE truck and devoured what they describe as ‘What do you mean you haven’t eaten from the grilled cheese truck yet?!’ food, my mission has become more obsessive. I want to get a jump on any new carts before the show propels them to a whole other level. According to my friends, there is sometimes more than an hour wait for the grilled cheese truck since the show aired.
