With the amount of traveling that I am doing this month it was bound to happen sooner or later and I guess it was sooner.  The airline lost my luggage.  All my luggage.  Only have my work bag on me.  To make it worse, a baby peed on me (long story) in the airport earlier, so have been waiting to arrive at my hotel to change out of my pee stained clothes.  Clearly that’s not happening.

So what’s a gal to do?  Well, first off don’t panic.  Chances are my bags will turn up somewhere in this country (any guesses where?) and will arrive at my hotel before tomorrow’s meeting.  In the mean time, thank goodness this hotel has laundry service and room service.  So you guessed it, that means I am writing this in my panties, over a hot steaming plate of food.  Life could clearly be worse.

And if the clothes don’t arrive?  Well thank goodness I’m a writer and it would not be unheard of to show up for the meeting in freshly laundered jeans. Hell – that’s probably dressing up for a meeting for a writer. Only problem, no clean underwear.  Guess I’ll be going commando tomorrow.
