So excited about being invited to be a part of the Vancouver Opera‘s Golden Anniversary Opening Night with Bellini’s Norma. I love the opera, and this haunting tale of passion, love, Druid Priestesses and secret affairs, sounds right up my alley.
This video, doesn’t do the eerie, enchanted and mystical setting of Norma justice, but I love the idea of the Vancouver Opera’s Operabot Project, so here is an Operabot Animation with an overview of Norma:
Operabot, for those that don’t know, was a contest encouraging young people to create animated short of this Season’s Vancouver Operas. Great way to get young people excited about the opera! I got hooked at the age of 16.
