With Emme Rogers gone on an adventure for a few days, I’ve decided to hijack her site and her home. While Emme’s away, the cat shall play…and I don’t mean Fuzzywiggle Furrypants Roo. My initial mission was just to drop in and take care of Ms. Roo, but I realized very quickly that something much bigger would come out of this. I decided to leave Emme some fun notes hidden around her place that would give her spontaneous laughs when she returns. What I discovered was shocking. Emme has a clutter problem! To be clear, she is not messy or dirty, just unorganized and overloaded with random things. I thought I might straighten things up for her, but I realized I couldn’t do it alone.
In this particular closet, for example, I found the strangest assortment of items. You can see the obvious yard-long party cups with juice jug, but she also has charcoal for her barbque, a keep-warm pizza bag, a tennis raquet, wrapping paper, sketch book and paints, a smore’s maker and more! I plan on staging some type of intervention when Emme gets back and I am open to suggestions. Perhaps there is someone we can get to come over and help her. Maybe if I stage it as a make-over event she will feel more glam about the whole thing.

So glad you decided to emphasize that I’m not messy or dirty. Suppose I should be irritate by exposing said closet to the world, but truth be told, I do need help. Love helping organize other people’s homes, but feel totally overwhelmed when it comes to my own.
So any suggestions? What has your research turned up?
