Doing Flips for Memphis and the International Blues Challenge

February 2, 2012 By Emme Rogers 6 Comments

This pretty much sums up how I feel about roamancing Memphis this week, especially with the International Blues Challenge on:

Loving the Blues, Southern hospitality and good ol’ Southern home cooking!

Kisses,

Emme  xoxo (with an extra long smooch for the Sleep Inn at Courtyard Square for ensuring I get my beauty sleep)

Emme, I am glad that you are loving my native country with as much pleasure as you indicate. It is especially good to hear that you are enjoying the customary comestibles that have become famous in our southeastern quadrant of the country. Blues is an in intricately fascinating genre of music, and, if you should not mind such a recommendation from one such as I, it pleases me to introduce you to an impromptu performance by three revered artists who juxtaposed their talents to bring us a Blues collaboration session of excellent quality. Phil Keaggy, Jonny Lang, and Tommy Sims are each respected musicians in their own rights, but this song, “When Love Come to Town,” highlights some of their best qualities as musicians and performers. Though it is more of a clean rock and roll sound, and his music has a profoundly Christian theme to it, I should readily encourage you to acquaint yourself with Keaggy’s compositions. His ability with his guitar is unquestionable, and his voice is actually quite decent.

As is customary of a young gentleman when he exchanges conversation with a lady, it is with every attention to propriety, nobility, modesty, decency, and chivalry that I humbly remain,

    Very Respectfully Yours,
    Tyler Barton.

I really love travelling in different kinds of places, Especially when in time to witness a street presentation and be amazed in different kinds of performance.

Sample the “Drink Me” Potion at Your Own Risk

Don't try to find a beginning or an end to this site, because there's not one. That will only cause you frustration and I don't have the money for your therapy bills. Mine are already expensive enough.
