Scenes that Make Me Smile: Dancing up at Storm at 2012 IBC Great Canadian Polar Bear Blues Showcase

February 17, 2012 By Emme Rogers 6 Comments

“No, I Said Smile!”

Moments like these two have made me decide to start a new column of ‘Scenes that Make Me Smile’, because life is too short not to.

Groovin’ Up a Storm at the IBC Great Canadian Polar Bear Blues Showcase

With special thanks to all the great Canadians at the first annual IBC Great Canadian Polar Bear Blues Showcase for inspiring these moments.  Here are two of them in action at the Kooky Canuck in Memphis, Tennessee.

Kisses,

Emme xoxo

Tell me about it. They’re also trying to talk me into a Blues Cruise, which I just might have to do, as I can’t imagine it being anything but hilarious with them.

As the crazy dancer with Allison, I would rather belatedly like to thank everyone involved from bands to organisers and supporters with the Kooky event for their friendship and hospitality throughout the IBC week. As lone limey I was truly grateful. On my return to the UK I managed to fall off a ladder, breaking a leg, hence the delay in this response. No dancing for some time!
There’s a report of my week at Memphis in the latest edition of ‘Blues Matters’ as well as the LRBcruise. In the next edition a report on Dan Treanor’s BITS in downtown Memphis primary school.
    Yours, goin’ down slow

I wish I was going again too Irene. Who knows I might be able to swing it yet.

Sample the “Drink Me” Potion at Your Own Risk

Don't try to find a beginning or an end to this site, because there's not one. That will only cause you frustration and I don't have the money for your therapy bills. Mine are already expensive enough.
